The 1st SCCS Virtual Conference in infection in Critical care will take place over 2 days, with a wide range of talks by experts and significant contribution from distinguished speakers.
The conference will meet the needs of a diverse audience of Critical Care and infectious diseases providers with updates about relevant current topics related to the science, challenges and emerging infectious struggles in the era of COVID 19 pandemic. Up-to-date recommendations of best clinical practices, and scientific evidence behind them, will be delivered.
The COVID-19 pandemic and its effects on the specialty will be prominently featured. The interactive virtual delivery of the conference will provide opportunities for communication and networking among attendees from a variety of local, regional, and international institutions.

It is my great honor and pleasure on behalf of the scientific committee to welcome you all and announce the birth of the first critical care and infectious disease conference , which is the first from its kind in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia . and I am sure that it will carry a tremendous impact on the health care practitioners in booth critical care and infectious diseases specialties which in its own will reflect on a better patient care in the ICU and outside ICU .
This conference is under the Saudi critical care society namely adult chapter as a one of the initiative in promoting education and training of critical care practitioners in all sectors .this activity is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and offers valuable Continuous Medical Education opportunities.
